Bray Leino does it again at Green Awards
14 November 2007
Hot on the heels of winning six trophies for its design and advertising work at the prestigious Fresh Creative Awards 2007, Bray Leino has walked away with a top prize at the annual Green Awards - a unique national event designed to showcase the value of sustainable development through powerful communications and marketing.
The awards spotlight brands or organisations that have demonstrated their commitment to these issues in a creative way, across different media platforms and marketing disciplines. With four separate nominations amongst stiff competition (other winners included M&S, Honda, Sky, The Guardian, The Carbon Trust) Bray Leino won the first award of the night, in the ‘Best Press Campaign' category, for its work with Bristol-based national sustainable transport charity Sustrans.
The winning ad campaign, which featured an image of a car tax disc with the words ‘Tax your thighs instead', was praised by judges for its visual impact and originality.
Jack Kramer, creative director at Bray Leino's Bristol office, said: "This is Bray Leino's 15th national award this year and it's a fantastic feeling, for both us and our clients, to know we're producing work that's so highly acclaimed by our peers".
